College Jump Start
If you are a high school student, you can get a jump start on your college career with the University of Evansville. There are three pathways to earn credits while in high school.
Dual-Credit Programs
The University of Evansville offers high school juniors and seniors the option of earning both college credit and high school credit at your high school. Please check with your high school school counselor to see what options are available to you from the University of Evansville.
Non-Degree Seeking Students
Students that are looking to earn credit at the University of Evansville while finishing up their high school career, can do so by applying as a special student and attend on campus classes that fit your schedule and needs.
Online High School Certificates
Online certificates for high school juniors and seniors give you a head start in your future careers. These 13 credit hour programs are taught online and allow you to earn college credit before stepping on to campus. Depending on a student’s high school curriculum, some students may be able to complete their college education in less than four years.

Health Sciences Certificate
The certificate includes five core courses and one elective for a total of 13 credit hours. Classes will be taught online for the reduced tuition cost of $125 per credit hour.

Education Certificate (Early Start Education Program)
Certificate programs include up to five courses and 13 credit hours of college credit. Classes will be taught online for the reduced tuition cost of $125 per credit hour. Textbook fees are an additional cost and should be considered in the total cost per course.
